The opportunity:
This is an exciting time to join Animation Research Limited in Dunedin in this new role. With a strong team of developers and technical staff, this role offers the chance to dive into complex technical projects and drive product development forward. Your expertise will be crucial during crunch times, QA/testing, and system optimisations. You'll also play a key role in enhancing the company’s DevOps capabilities and overall workflow, ensuring smooth interfacing with product owners.

The role:
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading technical projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring your team. Your role will involve close collaboration with developers and technical staff to ensure high-quality product development. You’ll ideally be hands-on with C++ and Unreal, helping out during crunch times and QA/testing phases. Your contributions will enhance the company’s DevOps capabilities, streamline workflows, and improve overall efficiency.

Your fit:
You are an experienced manager and programmer with some background in C++ and Unreal. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a knack for mentoring and optimising teams. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of technical project management. Experience in the Broadcast/TV industry would be an advantage. If you're passionate about driving innovation and improving workflows, this role is perfect for you!
